If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
If you have come here and found most of the posts only have a couple of lines then I am sorry. For some reason wordpress has decided to remove everything that was after the ‘more’ tags I had in posts up until recently. Due to that fact I have basically lost over half of y posts.
Posts including the ones on making a social network, top 100 themes, plugins, themes, tools, advertising and wordpress have all but gone. Some of my best work and the most visited on the blog. No more Blog Diseases, Blog to a Social Network, Forum and chat tutorials.
I have tried to recover these through the cache of various websites and search engines. But this site gets crawled quite often and I have found none of them. Its almost enough to make nme think about quitting this blog.
So this is a call out to any splogger or blogger who has copied my content. If you let me know where it is so that I can copy it back please do.

Sorry to hear about what happened. Does that mean, sploggers or plagiarizers have uses after all?
MattNutts is doing well so don’t give it up. Hope you get over this mess soon.
Cheers!

Its painful when weird stuff happens. I wish you luck in locating you intellectual property from the leeches that stole it to begin with.

if you get on to your hosting companies support crew, ask them to restore a backup from just before everything went haywire. I had a similar thing happen to me and they were happy to restore it all for me. I dont know how long they keep the backups for so I would do it soon
Its worth a try anyway. at least your site will be where it was a couple of days ago, just minus a few comments and your latest posts.
I now have a local backup on my machine at home that I now do each week. that way at most I only lose a weeks work if it all crashes

Hi,
I was so disappointed to to not be able to find your posts! have you checked your database for the content? All posts are stored in wp_posts table in their entirety (sp?). The –more– tag is part of that entire post, so it’s likely that there’s a programmatic error that isn’t properly parsing the content after the –more– tag, and your content is still intact in the database? Please feel free to email me if you think I can help - I appreciate your content!

Thanks for the suggestion, I have been through the database with a toothpick and not found a thing. It is a shame some of my best posts. Found about 4 floating around on splogs so Im catching up, just another 30-40 to find.
