Now I work in the computer industry and Im always interested to see what desktops some people have. It could just be a plain picture or a fully optimized desktop with sidebars and everything.
Heres a chance for you all to show what you have and get some feedback about it. Can you tell what someone is like just by looking at their desktop.
Does a messy desktop mean the owner is messy in real life.
For this to work I would like you to sign up and add a post in the Desktop category. The post will contain just an image of your desktop. You can then add a bit about you and what you do. To see if the desktop actually matches you and what you do.

desktops that are cluttered slow down your computer a significant amount.

Funny I just cleaned mine up tonight - blew out about 30 icons, jpegs, mp3s etc. You realize when the last grooming was when you look at your findings. Only 2 rows of icons now and a plain black background on my desktop. Now my 2 laptops need to be done. Felt good though…. just like doing your car or walk in closet when it’s over due.
