I have been around Blogcatalog for quite a while and I can honestly say that is one of my main sources of traffic. But you have to be clever and stay within the rules and market your blog effectively for it to send any traffic your way.
For this post I will outline what I do, what you should do and all the main functions of Blogcatalog.

I found an interesting blog today that is really picking up speed with bloggers caught up in the interesting tests that the blogger does. For example the posts on creating mini sites is a real find and holds some interesting information.
What started out as a make money online blog has turned into a blog with topics such as Guest Posting, Domain Tasting and HyperVRE which are some of the gems that I managed to find while browsing the blog. The magazine style front page really fits in with the various topics found throughout the blog and just shows the variety of topics that Read The Rest

Blog traffic isn’t a science, it isn’t even an art. You see so many sites saying do this or do that. Now I have done an experiment since Christmas, I have only written one post about blogging since December and a couple of odds and ends that don’t add up to a post altogether.
In other words I haven’t been adding quality content or posting on a regular basis. I wanted to see what this would do to my traffic. Would it drop like a stone or would it stay as it is.
At the time I stopped I was getting between 400 and 2000 visits a day. But what has it been like since Read The Rest
